Located in the center of the Costești commune, just 6 km from Horezu, the Vatra Inn emerges from a gorge cooled by the rapid waters that descend from the Buila-Vânturarița massif. The Vatra Inn is a monument building, a former spa establishment, transformed into an authentic Romanian inn. The building was rehabilitated between 2008 and 2016. It has 16 rooms (twin/double/triple/suite), with a capacity of 43 seats. Each room has its own bathroom.

All meals can be served at the inn’s restaurant and guests can enjoy traditional products from local sources. The inn has a green zavoi with an area of 3 hectares, where guests can relax in hammocks, sunbeds or simply on the grass.
